IPL 2018: Gayle's ton helps KXIP hand Sunrisers first defeat of season

Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their first match to Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2018) by 15 runs in pursuit of 194. KXIP kept it tight and did not let SRH batsmen score runs. Earlier, Gayle scored the first ton of the IPL 2018. With the win over Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab consolidated their position in the top three of VIVO IPL Points table.
Sunrisers Hyderabad had a bad start to their innings as opener Shikhar Dhawan was retired hurt after being hit on the elbow in the first over.
